NAS AMC and Support for Synology, QNAP and Asustor
A NAS that nobody looks at will eventually have a failed drive, a full volume or a backup job that stopped months ago. An annual maintenance contract means someone is checking, and someone answers when you call.
What AMC includes
- Regular health checks: drive SMART status, RAID state, temperature and free space
- Firmware and package updates, applied at a time you agree
- Checking that backup and snapshot jobs are completing
- Drive replacement and RAID rebuild when a drive fails
- Help with users, shares and permissions as your team changes
- Remote support, with on-site visits in Delhi NCR
NAS units we take under AMC
We support Synology, QNAP and Asustor units whether or not we installed them. For a unit we did not install, we start with a health check so both sides know its condition.
Common questions
What happens when a drive fails?
The NAS keeps working on the remaining drives and raises an alert. We replace the failed drive and the NAS rebuilds itself, usually while everyone carries on working.
Is hardware covered by AMC?
The NAS and drives are covered by the manufacturer's warranty for its term. AMC covers the service: monitoring, configuration, updates and handling warranty replacements for you. Cover for out-of-warranty hardware can be quoted separately.
Do you support a NAS that is out of warranty?
Yes, with a health check first. We will tell you honestly if the unit is at the age where replacing it is the safer choice.
