Who it suits
All-flash storage suits work that needs fast response: virtual machines, databases and video editing. It costs more per terabyte than hard drives, so it is usually paired with a larger hard-drive NAS for backup and archive.

How much usable storage does the FS2500 give?
It depends on the drives and the RAID level. With 12 × 2 TB drives in RAID 5 you get about 22 TB before formatting. The capacity table on this page shows other combinations.
Can the memory in the FS2500 be upgraded?
Yes. It ships with 8 GB DDR4 ECC UDIMM and Synology lists a maximum of 32 GB.
Does the FS2500 have 10GbE?
