The Synology HD6500 is a 60-bay rackmount NAS built around two Intel Xeon Silver 4210R processors. Installed memory is 64 GB DDR4 ECC RDIMM, expandable to 512 GB. Networking is 2 x 1GbE RJ-45, 2 x 10GbE RJ-45, 1 x out-of-band management. With expansion units it grows to 300 drive bays.

Who it suits
