The QNAP TS-264 is a 2-bay desktop NAS built around the Intel Celeron N5095 processor. Installed memory is 8 GB DDR4, expandable to 16 GB. Networking is 2 x 2.5GbE. It also has 2 x M.2 2280 PCIe Gen 3 x1 for SSD cache or fast storage.

Who it suits
One or two bays suit a home office or a team of up to about five people. With two drives in RAID 1, one drive can fail without losing data.

Questions about the TS-264
How much usable storage does the TS-264 give?
It depends on the drives and the RAID level. With 2 × 8 TB drives in RAID 1 you get about 8 TB before formatting. The capacity table on this page shows other combinations.
Can the memory in the TS-264 be upgraded?
Yes. It ships with 8 GB DDR4 and QNAP lists a maximum of 16 GB.
Does the TS-264 have 10GbE?
Not built in. Its ports are 2 x 2.5GbE. It has an expansion slot, which can take a faster network card where QNAP lists one for this model.
What warranty does the TS-264 have?
QNAP lists a hardware warranty of 3 years for this model.
Do you supply the TS-264 with drives and installation?
