How much usable storage does the DS423 give?
It depends on the drives and the RAID level. With 4 × 8 TB drives in RAID 5 you get about 24 TB before formatting. The capacity table on this page shows other combinations.
Does the DS423 have 10GbE?
No. Its network ports are 2 x 1GbE RJ-45.
What warranty does the DS423 have?
Synology lists a hardware warranty of 2 years, extendable to 4 years for this model.
