Synology DS925+
The Synology DS925+ is a 4-bay desktop NAS built around the AMD Ryzen V1500B processor. Installed memory is 4 GB DDR4 ECC SODIMM, expandable to 32 GB. Networking is 2 x 2.5GbE RJ-45. It also has 2 x M.2 2280 NVMe SSD for SSD cache or fast storage. With expansion units it grows to 9 drive bays.

How much usable storage does the DS925+ give?
It depends on the drives and the RAID level. With 4 × 8 TB drives in RAID 5 you get about 24 TB before formatting. The capacity table on this page shows other combinations.
Can the DS925+ be expanded?
Yes. With Synology expansion units it supports up to 9 drive bays in total.
Can the memory in the DS925+ be upgraded?
Yes. It ships with 4 GB DDR4 ECC SODIMM and Synology lists a maximum of 32 GB.
